RULES AND AGREEMENT FOR COMMUNITY BUILDING RENTAL ON _____

	YOU MUST BE FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR LEAVING THE BUILDING LOCKED, CLEAN, CHAIRS AND TABLES CLEANED, WATER & LIGHTS OFF. WHEN FOOD OR BEVERAGE IS SERVED, SPILLS MUST BE CLEANED BY SWEEPING & MOPPING. Do not attach anything to the ceiling of building. Report any malfunctions or accidents to the building reservationists. (Deposit box for building key is located in the storage room)
	ALL REFUSE & GARBAGE MUST BE PLACED IN LARGE DUMPSTER IN PARK. Burning of papers or debris is strictly prohibited anywhere on Park Grounds. Do not attach signs to Township street or park signs. Any directional signs erected must be removed after event.
	BUILDING MUST BE CLOSED BY 12:00 MIDNIGHT, with exceptions granted by permission obtained from the reservationist. An additional fee of $50.00 will be charged after midnight if permission is not obtained.
	A $50.00 DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF THE RESERVATION WITH AN ADDITIONAL $110.00 AT THE TIME THE KEY IS PICKED UP.

THE DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED IF THE BUILDING IS LEFT CLEAN & NEAT WITH NO UNAUTHORIZED USE OF FACILITY. Refund check will follow the event after approval at the next regular Supervisor's meeting.
RENTAL IS FOR ONE DAY ONLY - 10:00 A.M. TO 12:00 MIDNIGHT
WHEREAS, South Franklin Township prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages in its jurisdiction, and WHEREAS, South Franklin Township supports the prohibition of sale and/or
consumption of alcohol to or by minors, NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PERMITTED ON THE PREMISES.
WHEREAS, NO SMOKING SIGNS ARE POSTED throughout the Community Building and sensitive smoke detectors are in place, and when activated, summons the South Franklin Volunteer Fire Department immediately. If any individual or group should activate the alarm because of smoking, it is understood their deposit will be forfeited.
WHEREAS, South Franklin Township rents building and pavilion facilities only for private or non-profit use. No fee may be charged by lessees to those attending.
By signing this agreement, the lessee/permittee binds himself or herself individual & also binds his or her organization as well to abide by all the rules & terms set forth herein.
WHEREAS, by execution & signature herein below you & your organization acknowledge & agree you/they are solely liable for any & all claims arising out of your use of the premises & agree that you have released South Franklin Township & its officers & officials from any & all claims & shall protect, indemnify, defend & hold harmless said township, officers & officials.
