The Township will be collecting plastic caps and lids in a recycling effort and to also possibly help with the purchase of a few new benches for the Township Parks. No lids or caps with metal or paper can be collected. So start your collection at home (just keep them in a plain plastic grocery or garbage bag) and drop them off at the Township office… 100 Municipal Road, Washington, PA 15301.

Some ACCEPTABLE examples
- medicine pill bottle caps (info packet removed)
- milk, creamer, yogurt, mayonnaise, peanut butter, baby food lids
- drink bottle caps, water, soda, juice, sports drink
- ketchup, mustard, butter lids
- toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner
NEVER Acceptable examples
- NO TRASH
- no metal or paper
- ALL food containers
- bottles, pumps, sprayers
- plastic bags, toys, fast food drink lids
