Clean and Tidy has been working on an EXCITING NEW PROJECT and is looking for sponsors to help achieve our goals! Caps (bottle, detergent, toothpaste, etc.) have been collected by residents and businesses of Washington County and are being cleaned and bagged up by volunteers. The goal is to have 2,500 pounds of caps/lids collected, cleaned, and bagged to transport to Indiana in June to be recycled into 10 park benches for the Community.
Along with the required number of caps/lids, each bench costs $300. The cost for ten benches is $3,000. In addition, a truck will need to be rented to haul the caps and benches at an estimated cost of $1,200, excluding insurance, gas, and other travel expenses.
